During the cutting process, keep the saw blade sharp to ensure the flatness and accuracy of the cutting surface. Before drilling, the position and size of the hole must be determined, and the appropriate drill bit must be selected for processing to avoid excessive cutting force that may cause material breakage. In order to control deformation, natural or artificial aging and vibration treatment can be used to eliminate the internal stress of some blanks. Pre-processing is also an effective method. By removing the excess part of the blank in advance and reducing the margin of each part, it can not only reduce the processing deformation of subsequent processes, but also release some internal stress. 6. Surface treatment The finished 6061T6 aluminum rod often needs surface treatment to improve its performance and appearance. Common surface treatment methods include anodizing, spraying, electroplating, etc. Anodizing is to immerse the aluminum rod in an acidic solution, produce an oxide film through electrolysis, and improve its corrosion resistance and hardness. Spraying is to spray the paint on the surface of the aluminum rod to increase its wear resistance and aesthetics. Electroplating is to plate a layer of metal on the surface of the aluminum rod through electric current to improve its corrosion resistance and conductivity.
